Support » Plugin: WordPress HTTPS (SSL) » WordPress HTTPS Causing Conflict with Yoast SEO

I’m facing a conflict issue with WordPress HTTPS plugin and Yoast SEO when activated simultaneously.

WordPress HTTPS plugin when activated turns all the URLs in my XML sitemap non-secure (HTTP). However, when I disable the WordPress SEO plugin, all URLs in my XML sitemap become secure (https). Since I want Google to index the https (secure
) version of my site, I need to keep my URLs in my sitemap as secure (https). But since WordPress HTTPS plugin turns them HTTP (non-secure), Google has indexed lots of non-secure (http) URLs of my site in the search results.

I tried contacting Yoast support team and they were very responsive to send this issue to their developer team and as Yoast plugin gets frequently updated, I’m expecting this issue to be fixed soon from their end.

Can I expect the same from the developer of WordPress HTTPS plugin? The plugin hasn’t been updated for 2 years, should we expect any update to fix this bug?
