WordPress homepage problem

    WordPress homepage “Latest posts” option showing all my 800 posts even if I set the numbers of the post to show via setting. I changed themes but still experiencing the same problem

    Which theme and plugins do you have enabled?

    I’m using MAXWP Theme and below are a list of the plugins I have installed. but even if install the plugins and use another theme the problem still the same.
