    Since the 02/01/19 9AM, all of my WordPress websites have been hitting 100% CPU usage for what seems like almost no reason. I’ve tried talking with my hostings support (hostinger) however they haven’t been of much help. I’ve also attempted to reinstall WordPress and re-upload theme and plugin and it worked perfectly temporarily. Then again at 9AM today (10/01/19) the CPU usage of all my websites are back up to 100%. I have no idea what’s causing this and I haven’t found any information about it elsewhere. Website URLs are;

    None of them are complete as I have been unable to finish them off due to the server causing so many issues for me. Any suggestions to fix this will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

    I’d look hard at what is common to all three websites. Are they on the same host? Same server?

    Example: I had a zPanel server that took to doing that sometime back and it was the error logs which probably were overwhelmed after an update and refused to rotate properly anymore… that caused even more error logging issues.

    The quick fix was to delete those error logs but long term I had to pull one site over to another server. The server was borderline ‘at capacity’ to start with. The error log issue was a symptom of the bigger issue.

    It might be a plugin or theme commonality issue… Since it cropped up after the upgrade from what I understand.

    You might want to run the Health Check plugin if you can. That might give you a quick answer to the underlying issue.

    Else: Try a default theme and a temporary rename of the plugins directory to rule out issues with either of those items.

    It may take a few minutes for the server to ‘catch up’ after making any changes. Patience pays some dividends in these cases.
