  • I have been able to log into wordpress.com but when in the “my site” tab there is a red warning saying “this site cannot be accessed”

I do not know anything about inter-connecting between wordpress.com and a self-hosted site, but that might just be because of the trouble at your self-hosted site.

When I go to: ‘http://www.mariefromparis.com/wp-admin/’ I only get a blank page with error message…

Use FTP/SFTP > FileZilla or cPanel > File Manager to temporarily rename the ‘/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/’ folder to something like ‘/wp-content/plugins/updraft-plus/’ or ‘/wp-content/plugins/updraft-minus/’ to disable that plugin and then try again.

Hi Lee, thanks for your reply!
I renamed the folder as you recommended and it worked! Should I rename it back to what it was now?
    thanks
    Marie
