wordpress foliolog!

    Hello – noob here!

    I’m thinking of making wordpress into a personal “design portfolio log machine” – a blog with my design work in it. So I did some digging around and found a theme to suit my needs (plaintxtblog – which with some tiny css tinkering will serve me right and keep it “unobtrusive”) and propably a image plugin (highslide for that matter).

    Now my questions:
    1) I’m on a server that runs on windows IIS,ASP.NET etc. Is WordPress gonna be running fine with plugins on windows servers? Should I just change my host and find one with unix servers?

    2) If I decide to install wordpress with my current host (with the windows servers) will a future migration to a different server (with Apache) will cause problems ?
