WP has not become a supplier – any company is free to use WP, even M$.

I see little WP code in there.
What I do see are commented references to Kubrick.
The validator says there are 223 errors, that the page is html4 (not xhtml as WP is out of the box).

As for the copyright – strictly speaking that should cover only their elements. Even M$ had better not try and claim Kubrick is theirs.

Your claim is not quite right.

I CANNOT find the word “wordpress” on that page or in the source.

Isn’t this site generated by wordpress?
    http://blog.focus.msn.de/nahles/

If it is called as http://blog.focus.msn.de/nahles/wp.php it looks like wordpress, but Foucus MSN does not show this URL or any other reference to wordpress anywhere.

That is the point, Focus MSN uses wordpress as their blog software, eleminated all references and hints showing, that they are using wordpress and the footer gives a look as if it would be Microsoft software.

So no wonder, that you cannot find the word “wordpress” in the blogs. I think, the word “wordpress” should be there, but it is not.

More I didn’t want to point out.

It is wp .. my mistake. On the wp.php link you provide, it states “Powered by WordPress”

As for the © I suppose someone would say that is allowed as it’s for the content, though myself I would like that sort of thing to be explicit. After all, can’t have any confusion about copyright can we Mr Gates ?

The content seems to be copyrighted by the newspaper corporation Tomorrow Focus AG as stated on the same page with “Copyright 1996–2005 by Focus Online, ein Unternehmen der TOMORROW FOCUS AG, webmaster@focus.de

So what for is the “© 2005 Microsoft” there?

    For the technology?
