    Hey guys,

I bought the Oxygen theme, uploded the files into the serwer but suddeny i managed to find out that wordpress wants to see all php files with uppercases letter when in fact all of them are small and it’s kinda stupid to change all of them to big ones manually. I get errors like this one

Warning: require(/home/szczepan/domains/szczepan.creativepromotion.pl/public_html/wp-includes/SimplePie/Misc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/szczepan/domains/szczepan.creativepromotion.pl/public_html/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 5

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/szczepan/domains/szczepan.creativepromotion.pl/public_html/wp-includes/SimplePie/Misc.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php/php55/lib/php’) in /home/szczepan/domains/szczepan.creativepromotion.pl/public_html/wp-includes/class-simplepie.php on line 5

in different plugins of course. i just dont want to change all the names, i think it’s a apache server but im a noobie in this case.

i heard it might have smth to do with htaccess files ?

Try re-uploading all files & folders from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

ok i just kpt the uppercases while copying via total commander. I deleted the old WP and old datababase but now i get this:

    http://www.szczepan.creativepromotion.pl

Database Error…is it that i have to wait for it to become visible ?

Did you overwrite your wp-config.php file? When copying a new installation etc this is one file you generally should not overwrite.

Please check that file and make sure you have the correct database settings.

even if i didn’t wouldn’t the wordpress install page show up ?

    Worth checking either way…

i didn’t overwrite it, i deleted everthing from the server and then i started uploading the WP again

Okay sure, but to fix the problem, I am 99% certain you need to correct the settings there. Can you please confirm you have checked this file and the settings are correct?
