# WordPress Export/Import issues

 * I have a WordPress 2.6.1 blog with approx. 8,500 published posts. I have exported
   this blog using the standard WordPress export tool and Imported it into a blog
   running WordPress 3.2.1. During the import operation, only some of the posts 
   are imported (approx. 2,000).
 * I’m at a loss as to why the import operation won’t work properly. If anyone has
   any troubleshooting tips, let me know. Thanks.
