# WordPress Excessive CPU Usage HELP!

 * Hello,
 * So I’m running wordpress 2.7.1 and I just switched to a new dual core VPS with
   4GB or ram. My server CPU is around 40 percent CPU and spikes up to about 50 
   at times. I’ve installed wp-super-cache and I’ve optimized the database.
 * What can I do to fix this problem? My new server should be more then enough to
   run my website.
 * I am going to upgrade my wordpress now to see if that will fix the problem.
 * Please suggest something.. I an tired of this battle…
