# WordPress Error

 * Everytime I try to go to the plugin page via my wp-admin it gives me the error
   “
   An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this
   server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support
   forums.”
 * How can I fix this?

 * Check if the SITE URL is left blank in Settings -> General
 * Also, this could be a server issue – sometimes caused by a failure to compile
   PHP with cUrl. Contact your hosts about it.

   any malware

 * It’s likely your host is blocking the calls to wordpress.org. Try contacting 
   them for assistance.

 * I have already been talking to them about this as well and they said the other
   clients with wordpress said they are not having same issues, I have even uninstalled
   all plugins but same issue. I have even added api.wordpress.org api’s IP to my
   hosts file.
