Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Sixteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
@james Huff Thank you for your reply and answer, according to your reply I checked the inspection and themes; determine the theme editor to load and wordpress version of the conflict has been resolved repair. Thank you
Can either of you help? I have the new download version 4.5.2. All of my plug in are updated. I have turned them all off and still I am having this issue.
My frontend editor ” edit with visual composer” will not work. It will not load. I do not know what to do. I need the visual editor because I am not an expert with code. None of my currant pages will open this and if I create a new page- the front end editor will open, but no information or data will actually load or be added to the page.
Please help.

Since Visual Composer is a commercial plugin, we ask that you please go to their official support channel, so you can get support from the people who know it best.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why it is not working properly. Other community members who may have faced your issue might be able to help you but your best bet is your product’s developer. Keep in mind we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
