# WordPress Editor Buggy?

 * Hey Guys,
 * Is anyone having issues with the editor inside WP acting buggy (v2.7)? If I copy
   and paste something into the editor (direct code, via the HTML button), it does
   not update with the exact code I’ve copy and pasted. It changes things. From 
   adding a different style to a div tag, to something like:
 * <div style=”name” id=”name2″>
 * to:
 * <div id=”name2″ style=”name”>
 * That there isn’t causing a problem, but some other things are. For example, the
   editor isn’t grabbing class names inside an href tag, so the page isn’t styled
   properly.
 * Is there any solution to this?
 * Thanks.

 * Are you pasting inline style? I have used inline styles directly in the editor
   without problems, but not in 2.7 yet.
 * You may just want to put the styles into your stylesheet, and give those divs
   a class name instead of using inline styles.

 * He’s not using inline styles (thank god) – its the editor. Its rewriting my code
   oddly too ([http://wordpress.org/support/topic/240878?replies=1](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/240878?replies=1)).

 * OK, what is the “style=name” for?
 * Try using a div around your images, i.e. alignright or alignleft – evidently 
   div tags don’t get wrapped in paragraphs…
