• Hello, I’m not very fluent on WordPress but know enough to create products and edit our pages. Typically when I log in to our website and go to our home page and click “edit” I would see it on the dashboard with a drag and drop editor/build. Today when I logged in, there was no drag and drop editor, just code. Can anyone shed some light on why this might have happened? All plug ins have been updated except for a “subscription” plugin. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Have you tried:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Also, any op cache or content network cache, as well as Cloudflare, clear those caches.
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

It seems this issue has occurred multiple times based on threads I’ve read. Was hoping someone had already found a reason it happens and a solution. Seems like it’s still in troubleshooting mode. I’ll review your recommendations. Thanks.
