I have been tasked with a job of duplicating a website on wordpress 3.3.2 in my own PC(localhost) so i have imported both the database and the themes/plugins.
I have changed all the url in the database to match my localhost instead of the domain where it was implemented before, but i have came to this error.
When i go to my website, i see the theme, the main page with its content, plugins de-activated, and all links. But when i choose any link(intern) it shows me a 404 page, expect the index one. I can go to external links (like Google) without a problem.
I cannot access my wp-admin page aswell, as it also gives me 404 error.
The page wp-login.php DOES work but sadly when i try to login, it gives me a 404 login page.
i have tried to disable themes and plugins to no result, also nothing with deleting the .htacess file.
Im simulating the server using WAMP 2.2
Thanks in advance for any suggestion on how to proceed with this issue, and apologies for any English mistake i might have written.
