wordpress does not recognize my user name

    Hi,
    I have 2 sites active with wordpress.
    – tmt.org.il
    – fch-il.com
    the first site, when I try to enter it, does not recognize my user name, nor my email address.
    Dr Daniel Glucker – dani_gl@netvision.net.il
    not even the alternative user name.
    tmt
    when I try to ask for renewal of password, I receive an answer that this user or this email does not exist.
    my second site is opened and I can work with it.
    I do not risk exiting it in case I shall not be able to enter it again.
    my user name and email address in this site, was also not recognized when trying to renew my password.
    What can I do?

    one trick that helped me was to log into the database (through my ISP host’s website) then go to the wp_users table and paste the password into the user_pass textbox and change the function to MD5

    Another problem I had was that my database was transferred from another website/server and the database kept sending information back to the old site, I had to go in and manually change all references to the new URL.

    There are a ton of similar problems here, you will need to just look at them all and see which one fits your situation

    what is “ISP host’s website”?
    do you mean CPANEL?
    any other help or something more clear that can help?
