Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the /mh-magazine/ directory to /mh-magazine-broken/

This will cause the default theme to activate instead and allow you to use the site normally, minus your preferred theme of course.

If your site is blank after doing that, you’ll need to upload the Twenty Seventeen theme to /wp-content/themes/ from a fresh download: https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/

Finally, you’ll need to report the problem with the theme to its support at https://www.mhthemes.com/support/

I uploaded the twenty seventeen themes but it is showing the same error, this error is showing in all the themes i activated, i tried to install it via admin dashboard this is what i got in reply ” An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.”
I try to Re-update my wordpress version, am also getting error.
Now my wp-admin dashboard is no more responding.

Using the same method that James mentioned above (FTP/Hosting Control Panel) navigate to wp-content/ and rename the plugins folder to plugins.old. This will temporarily deactivate all plugins.

    Hi Ricbox,

your issue isn’t theme related, you’re getting these errors no matter what theme you’re running. Currently it’s the Voice theme:

Warning: include(/home/sevenk4d/public_html/africbox.com/wp-content/themes/voice/functions.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/sevenk4d/public_html/africbox.com/wp-settings.php on line 426

It’s very likely that your issue is hosting related. You may want to contact your host in order to check the file permissions on your server and further analysis. Your host also may be able to restore a backup of your site.

In addition, the information from this thread may be helpful as well: Access denied to WordPress.
