WordPress deleted my all comments

    For a while it even showed “0” posts, but all posts were there in 1 minute, what about the comments? They deleted thousands of them, now there are 0.

    What’s wrong?

    We mean “What is YOUR site URL?”

    But for what it’s worth, WP normally doesn’t do that.

    Are any in your Database? Look in the wp_comments table

    According to digi.no, wordpress and joomla are under heavy attacks these days. A botnet of around 90.000 computers tries to brute-force the accounts: Admin, Administrator, Root and Test. If any of those matches the username you use on your blog, then you might aswell have been hacked.

    Im no computer security expert, so i cant say anything for sure. I know that comments aint disappearing on their own, though.

    I can’t even get any new comments, it’s like 3 days now.
