They are very helpful in case you have problems. I tried Boonex for a while when I was setting up my site. Boonex is basically a garbage. The code is so flaky, a slight changes to header file broke avatar module, which you would never think. Adding extra meta tags to header.html file of template broke other module which had me wasted two days. You will never think that adding meta tags will break a picture upload module. Then some other changes to template file, broke Blogs module. After spending 3 weeks I trashed Boonex. It is a crapiest code I had ever seen. Beside you end up paying for even slight changes to code. You can easily go broke by adding all the functionalities in boonex. I went to datingsolutions.biz. It is playing nice. They are working on next version which would have a lot of added feature. The membership level. Currently, you can have whole site as free or paid membeership. There is no option of various membership level and there is no option of “Join Free” with limited membership. Also, it has only PayPal gateway. One may need other payment gateways beside PayPal to run international dating site. For example PayPal is not much of a use in China and India, while my customer base is potentially India. I requested for adding other payment gateway, e.g. ccavenue, and authorize. net etc. I was told that for now only PayPal will be option. There are no plans to add other payment gateways. However, developers are working on the next version with mmembership level option. I found php code for ccavenue, authorize.net an c2checout at googlecode. I may try to add it myself through a different payment page.
