WordPress Database Problem…

  • Yo, I’ve got a little problem with my WordPress blog.

This error shows up at the top of each page:

WordPress database error: [Got error 28 from table handler]
    SELECT DISTINCT * FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date_gmt <= ‘2005-11-12 22:42:59’ AND (post_status = “publish” OR post_author = 1 AND post_status != ‘draft’ AND post_status != ‘static’) GROUP BY wp_posts.ID ORDER BY post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 10

Plus, WordPress says there is nothing to show. But in my admin panel, you can see that all my posts are still there. Now, I’ve checked if it’s a problem with any plugin I’ve installed but even when I turn them all off, the problem remains…

Maybe you’ll need a list of wich plugins I’ve activated:
    – fQuick
    – Get Recent Comments (from Krischan Jodies)
    – Hello Dolly
    – Jerome’s Keywords
    – WordPress Database Backup
    – Admin theme: SpotMilk

I’ve backed up my database just to make sure, but it’ll be easier if this problem is solved en I hope you guys could help me.

    Thanks in advance,

    Beau M.

Email your host – Error 28 (or indeed any ‘table handler’ error) is something only they can fix.

Please do a search for “error 28”. This is a hosting problem; you’ll need to contact your host. You’ll see in some of the posts under the returns from your search what the actual situation is…. and what you need to ask your host.

    Thanks!

It is someone who runs a server, but it isn’t a hosting company. What should I ask him to do?

OK, I’ve just repaired all the wordpress tables with PHPmyadmin, and the error is still there.

The stuff you need to know is in many of the threads you can find by searching for “error 28”.

OK, thanks. As soon as the server owner comes online I’ll ask for cleaning the temp folder.
