# WordPress database error when using Category Visibility

   issue. Today I played with the category visibility and since then my home page
   is flooded with errors like:
 * `WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual
   that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near'
   AND front=1' at line 1]
    SELECT cat_ID FROM cat_visibility WHERE cat_ID= AND 
   front=1
 * What Gives?

 * Does replacing the plugin with an untouched version remove the error ?

 * The offending plugin was Category Visibility 0.23 ([http://www.gudlyf.com/archives/2005/03/08/wordpress-plugin-category-visibility/](http://www.gudlyf.com/archives/2005/03/08/wordpress-plugin-category-visibility/))
 * Upgrading to latest version resolves the issue.

 * I just uploaded the newest version of Category Visibility and have the error 
   also. Is anyone else having a problem with this plugin?
