I have been using your pluggin for a long time. I have made near 300 tables with tablepress.
I am having a lot of errors.
I found many logs like this one bellow

[Sun Dec 02 16:27:58.922335 2018] [cgi:error] [pid 20074] [client 34.35.128.38:3645646] AH01215: WordPress database error Table ‘./mywebsitename_myusername/wp_wfhits’ is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed for query SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM wp_wfhits made by wfLog->logHit, wfRequestModel->save, wfModel->save, wfModel->insert: /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/ea-php71

Also I saw multiple logs in /var/log/messages stating “out of memory” with PHP and MySQL immediately following as the culprit.

Time ago I wrote you about a problem with the huge amount of transient data the plugin generates. https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-the-transient-data-that-the-plugin-generates/

I think the problem came back. Is there a fix for this?
If I erase 280 tables, and remain only with the 20 more important, is the problem going to be fix?

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

This error message clearly refers to a database table called “wp_wfhits”, which belongs to the Wordfence security plugin. I found a similar topic here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/table-wp_wfhits-is-marked-as-crashed-and-should-be-repaired/

So, this has nothing to do with TablePress.

    Tobias

@karina-1984 There is nothing here to report. The “Report this topic” is to report spam, abuse, etc. This is not that.

    Hi,

    thanks for the heads up!

    Best wishes,

    Hello Tobias,

From the logs, I can see that one of the plugins ‘Tablepress’ was causing immense load on the server in the form of heavy SQL queries.

For now, I have disabled the mentioned plugin and server load starting to normalize.

Kindly fix the issue with Tablepress plugin creating heavy load like this:

    “creating select sql_calc_found_rows wpl4_posts.id from wpl4_posts where 1=1 AN”

    Hi rajinderverma,

please don’t simply post in other old threads, but let’s keep the discussion in the thread at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/tablepress-causing-immense-load-on-the-server/

    Hello!

My WordPress search is not working properly and it seems TablePress is the culprit. I did cross-check by deactivating TablePress and search started working fine.

When I turned on WP_DEBUG, it threw this error.

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near ‘]?)(18)([\]”\’ /])’))) AND (wpdemo_posts.post_password = ”) AND wpdemo_post’ at line 1]
    SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS wpdemo_posts.ID FROM wpdemo_posts WHERE 1=1 AND (((wpdemo_posts.post_title LIKE ‘%keyword%’) OR (wpdemo_posts.post_excerpt LIKE ‘%keyword%’) OR (wpdemo_posts.post_content LIKE ‘%keyword%’) OR (wpdemo_posts.post_content REGEXP ‘\\[table id=([“\’]?)(18)([\]”\’ /])’))) AND (wpdemo_posts.post_password = ”) AND wpdemo_posts.post_type IN (‘post’) AND (wpdemo_posts.post_status = ‘publish’) ORDER BY wpdemo_posts.post_title LIKE ‘%keyword%’ DESC, wpdemo_posts.post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 5
