    Hi everyone!

    Since few days I have this error at the bottom of my main page (and only on this page, after the loop of the entries) :

    WordPress database error: [Out of memory (Needed 2097124 bytes)]
    SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT ID) FROM wp_posts WHERE 1=1 AND post_date_gmt <= ‘2006-09-30 12:58:59’ AND (post_status = “publish” OR post_author = 1 AND post_status != ‘draft’ AND post_status != ‘static’) AND post_status != “attachment”

    I haven’t a lot of traffic on my blog, this is just a “small” blog (I’m running it for 3 years now) and I have a unlimited server (with unlimited bandwidth,…).

    Where do you think this error come from?
    Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

  • This is not a WordPress specific problem … Your server is running out of free memory.

    Basically, you need to call your host and have them sort out the MySQL server.

    Some users have reported success by using “Repair Tables” in PHPMyAdmin.

    I’ve just done a repair but I’ve still the error…
    I’ll try to ask some help to my host.
    Thanks!
