# WordPress database error – Help!

 * My site – [http://www.thechocolatereview.net/](http://www.thechocolatereview.net/)–
   uses the latest version of WordPress, I was just trying to sort out my widgets
   when I realised that I couldn’t move any of them, it instead just selected the
   text like I was going to copy and paste, I then just clicked “Save Changes” anyway
   for some stupid reason, and it’s reset all my widgets to the default layout and
   I can’t put any of them back.
 * I also have this message at the bottom of my sidebar – “WordPress database error:[
   You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your
   MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1]”
 * I have no idea what this means or what to do, and I’m the least tech-savvy person
   around. Is anyone able to help?

 * That theme isn’t compatible with the new version of WP have a look here for some
   that are.

 * Hmm…changed the theme, still not letting me drag and drop widgets. Tried using
   both Internet Explorer and Firefox and neither are allowing it Any help there?

 * The theme being incompatible was just a fix for the mysql error.
 * Check your server logs for clues about why you aren’t able to use your widgets.
   Also try clearing your cache and logging out and back in.
