Seeking help to resolve the following types of errors, getting this type of error with many sites:

Hi,

So these look like they are related to your MainWP plugin activity log: https://mainwp.com/using-the-activity-log-for-mainwp-extension/. It looks like it might actually be having issue closing the log.

Have you tried clearing some the log events?

Is there anything else in your php error log (any fatal errors)?

Do you optimize your DB (this might help)?

Interesting, the site’s not running MainWP. It is running ManageWP w/ the worked plugin installed.

Site was optimized when we changed hosts, doing so again and will clear the error log. No fatal errors in the log file.

Hosting company suggested caching as the cause of the out of sync issues. The below messages were in the log for the site djbridal.com. I disabled WP-Optimize and cleared the log file. Will review tomorrow to see if the messages return.

Any additional thoughts on how to use WP Optimize without the out of sync errors?

Can ask your hosting provider to see if they can find anything in the MySQL logs, LiteSpeed’s logs, or syslog around the same time that the errors occur.

Can you ask them to do this for multiple sites that are affected to see if this helps us narrow things down a bit?

They suggested increasing the php.ini memory_limit setting to 2048. It’s eliminated most of the sync messages. Will monitor for a few more days and report back. Appreciate your patience …… Rick.

I give up, nothing I’ve tried eliminates the errors in the log. They still appear when WP Optimize is disabled so no need for you to pursue assistance finding a solution. Appreciate you hanging in there with me while we explored ideas, thank you …… Rick

Hi @rbarron . Did you try set manual cron instead?
I am facing the same issue and it appear when I reach the limit of the available CPU usage.
I set manual cron from Cpanel and I disabled the WP_CRON in wp-config.php because it usually run each time you load any page. It helped me but I am still facing some errors when the manual cron runs. Currently I am trying to disable some cron jobs because when it reach the 100% of processing it start to get freezing and is not able to stop again. Basically I had to kill process by command line and it back to work well. PD: 512MB ram is enough to work well. Check healt of wordpress if it is recognizing this config.

From the latest logs and steps taken, it seems the issue persists even after increasing max_execution_time and memory_limit, disabling WP_CRON, and running manual CRON jobs. Given that the errors still occur when WP-Optimize is disabled, this suggests the problem might not only be connected with WP-Optimize but possibly with your hosting setup too.

I recommend using tools like New Relic or your hosting provider’s server monitoring tools to track server performance and identify any resource bottlenecks. Additionally, request your hosting provider to provide detailed MySQL logs for the times when the errors occur. This might offer more insight into the root cause of the “Commands out of sync” errors.
