# WordPress database error

 * When I go to make a comment on my blog, I get the following message:
 * WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]
    SELECT * FROM wp_comments
   WHERE comment_ID = 6
 * WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away]
    SELECT comment_status
   FROM wp_posts WHERE ID = 27
 * Also, when someone tries to register, they never received a password by email.
   Can anyone out there please HELP me resolve this.

 * You’d have to check with your mail servers logs to see what is occuring on the
   email question.
