WordPress database error

  • Hello, i don’t know why but my blog now show this message under the CATEGORY field:

WordPress database error: [Unknown column ‘option_description’ in ‘field list’]
    INSERT INTO wp_options (option_name, option_value, option_description, autoload) VALUES (‘category_children’, ‘a:0:{}’, ”, ‘yes’)

What’s the problem? Thank you so much!

  • So, what did you do between “now” and the time it worked?

I just downgraded to 2.2.3 once the 2.3 give me a lot of database error while upgrading.

I got this error (and many others) after upgrading to 2.3.3. I followed the detailed instructions step-by-step. I’ve had to upload several files to correct other problems. I’m beginning to think there is a problem with either my webhosting server or my satellite internet. It’s like the files didn’t load completely, and once I upload the file again, that part starts working.

But all of that to ask this, what file should I try uploading again to correct this error message?
