# WordPress – Custom Taxonomy – Customize Loop

 * I have a custom taxonomy and have created a custom template page “taxonomy-gallery.
   php”.
 * This pretty much does what I need, but I have one minor issue.
 * The loop is showing
 * [root category]
 * A
    –> B ——–> C —> D —> E F —> G
 * I need it to show only direct descendants:
 * [root category]
 * A
    F
 * I had a look at the query_posts function, but I cannot find a way to specify 
   only direct descendants.
