WordPress CSS Style Competition! (ends Feb 6th)

  • To help grow the number of skins for the default WP template, I’m sponsoring a CSS Style Competition!
Get those creative juices flowing and send in your contributions. I can’t wait to see what you all come up with.
I highly encourage you all to blog about this (use the link above) to help get the word out. Thanks!

Alex -FYI: I’ve got a CSS I’d like to submit, it needs to be cleaned up and one little thing fixed and it will be good to go.

    Get a move on. 🙂

Hiya, three days ago I started setting up my first blog, yesterday found WP – and it’s great! Today went through the stylesheet in a lot more detail with the help of NM’s tutorial – it helps big-time, thanks.
Since I take it the stylesheet competition is aimed at havig a collection of diverse examples of potential styles – the following style brought me to WP, I think it is superb.

Hey, y’all get cracking on this! I’m ready to give out some cashola! 😉
I’ve been happy with how things have been going, but I want to see some more cool stuff. 😀

Just over 6 1/2 hours to go… get those styles in. 🙂

Have the same issue with Firebird – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Cookies are switched on. So, I switched to Opera 7, but when I go to fullscreen, the stylesheet breaks. Switch back to normal, and it comes back. Weird.
Some nice styles there. A couple are excellent.

    So how are winners chosen?

I think Alex mentioned earlier that he has a big dart board…

The winners have been announced. A big Thank You to everyone who contributed.

Is this resource of WP styles going to included somewhere on this site? As a static resource page perhaps?
This is not to take away focus from Alex King’s site and the wonderful job that he has done with this competition, but I think that they deserve their own page here at WordPress.

Some brilliant styles there everyone, well done to all!
And thank you for making them publicly available too. 🙂

I’ve been working on something for here at wordpress.org.

boy, this is awesome stuff… 🙂

May we use that css code? Or can you tell me who made ‘Human Condition’? I’d really like to ask the author wether i may use his/her template 🙂

i believe that was one of the condition of the competition that the CSS code will be available for use by others… with credit to the author ofcourse…
