# WordPress Crowdfunding

 * Hi everyone am looking to start a sponsorship base site in my community that 
   enables individuals to post ideas and innovation in the frontend and giving abilities
   to certain users (sponsors ) to sponsor the idea. I know there are plugins to
   do that already but they are kinda expensive given that they don’t really offer
   what I intend to have. I want my site to function somewhat like `www.equitynet.
   com` or `www.crowdcube.com`.
    anyone has suggestion on how to go bout this?

 * It depends on your (or your resources) coding skills. If lacking, coding skill
   can be hired – try jobs.wordpress.net.
 * With adequate skills acquired you can either develop from scratch a bespoke plugin
   that does exactly what you want. Or if there’s an existing plugin that’s close,
   you could simply adapt it to your needs. This can even be done with commercial
   for-pay plugins as long as their code is not obfuscated.
 * Ideally you would adapt plugins by hooking into provided actions or filters, 
   or by adapting pluggable functions. Done this way, your custom work is not overwritten
   by plugin updates.
 * If your choice plugin does not offer the desired hooks, you can still adapt it
   by directly editing the plugin files, but then you’ve essentially voided all 
   implied warranty and support, and you’ll need to reapply your changes after updates,
   or forgo updates and assume responsibility for any security risks that may exist.
