WordPress crashing Apache2, where to get help?

  • I posted here a few days ago about a problem I’m having with wordpress activity seemingly crashing Apache. I got no responses at all, so I’m wondering if anyone can at least direct me to another forum that might be more knowledgeable about the wordpress-to-apache interactions and issues?

  • Hi,

Do you have your own web server or hosted at any service provider? at least you need to complete rebuild your Apache with PHP and MySQL..

If you have purchased the hosting service then suggest you to change the service provider..

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

    My own server (VPS).

I have rebuilt everything several times. No difference. I did recently (yesterday) switch my Apache MPM from prefork to worker. It hasn’t crashed yet but it did hog a lot of memory a few times.
