  • I use WordPress for over 10 years and my biggest problem are the CMS Detectors, I don’t want anybody to know wich cms is running on my Site, I think WP needs this features in core.

Security Settings (on intallation random name for admin folder will be generated) everything that shows detectors that this is wp need to be changed.

Buy the teams behing succeful Plugins like WPML and make it part of something called WP Pro so this WP will have features like Multilingual.

Inside the Editor a setting to choose the Menu where this page will go.

Every page need to be able to have its own Theme.

What you think and what are the feature you would like to have in WordPress?

I don’t know about this one Jeremiva, this is what is called “security by obscurity” and it’s not a common security practice in the industry.

More technical people that have browser extansions for detecting cms don’t buy a service that is made with wordpress not all but a big part, I have done a few tests now.

I think that’s the scope of a theme, as it is only possible to move menus if the theme has coded sections to move it to. To achieve this, you would need to mandate the ability to add the menu to many sections of each page. When I think about it like that, that’s not going to be very practical for every user. When you suggest things in core, you’re saying “This should be available for everyone”.

Every page need to be able to have its own Theme.

You need to expand on that. When we talk about “Themes” in WordPress, they are separate folders that have their own configuration and implementations. Saying “Every page needs to be able to have its own theme” doesn’t make sense.

You need to replace “Buy” with “Collaborate”. If you’re not aware, WordPress is created, driven and supported by volunteers.

It appears you’re writing a blog post, not a support request or RFE. That’s fine, but it does not belong here. Closing this topic.
