• Hi, during the last WordPress update (5.8) it seems that some kernel files have not been removed. I wanted to know if I can delete them manually from Wordfence without having any problems later. Thanks. All the best.

    If you are seeing “Old WordPress core file not removed during update” scan results for these specific files below then you can remove them, or wait for the next update of WordPress that will remove them:

    wp-includes/css/dist/editor/editor-styles-rtl.css
    wp-includes/css/dist/editor/editor-styles-rtl.min.css
    wp-includes/css/dist/editor/editor-styles.css
    wp-includes/css/dist/editor/editor-styles.min.css
