# WordPress Core files modified

 * under updates, WordPress tells me “Hey! One or more of your WordPress core files
   or directories have been modified. This could mean that your site has been hacked!”
   but when I try to “Reset Core Files” using the button provided, i get the following
   red error message:

   is different than the release hash (474c022ef8e5371a8fc756dbfeb96d1b).
