Support » Plugins » WordPress cookie is overriding oscommerce cookie?

  • I think my issue is cookie based, but I am not ENTIRELY sure. I am trying to connect to the oscommerce files to display my cart contents in the header of wordpress. I have successfully included the application_top.php from oscommerce which connects to the configure files and the general function files.

Then i use a php include to include the actual file that creates the shopping cart box for the top of the page. I get a headers already sent error (not the major concern here though)

The issue right now is, even though the wordpress card shows “0 Items” which is generated by the shopping_cart.php file – if i add an item to my cart and click on “blog” to view the wordpress side of the site, the cart box does not show any products.. When I go back to the store the product is there again..

So basically the cart is some how not getting the information from the store as to what is in the cart..

I BELIEVE this is a cookie issue, but can not say for sure.

here is where you can add an item to cart

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. i have been wracking my brain for weeks with this one.

Saw this post and thought i would throw my hat into the ring so to speak. My team are about a week away from creating the “holy grail” of wordpress ecommerce a fully functional and secure osCommerce plug in for WP.

Yes it is a monster task, but thankfully i have a genius running the team and we are 80% with no issues to date.

We are also looking for beta testers..you can sign up at http://www.wponlinestore.com

    Cheers
    Garf
