I have my blog on WordPress.com and my host is godaddy. I have a website from godaddy.

I am new to WordPress and now I need SEO plugins etc. to go higher in search results. I came to know about YOAST. I am realizing I need to shift to WordPress. org in order to use this and other plugins.

Can I still go to .org from .com for my blog with all other parameters (like I paid around 18 dollars for WordPress domain registration, and godaddy domain registration).

It is driving me crazy, could you help? I read a tutorial that I can export my content from WordPress com to org, but I don't understand the godaddy thing then.

Any help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

I do not need to change from godaddy to hostgator etc.?

I moved from Tumblr to WP.com 2 weeks back...and now again moving to WP.org.

    I guess, part of learning.

You can use WordPress on GoDaddy if that's what you mean.

Also ask your host about add-on domains since you already have one there. You should be able to have the two sites side-by-side with no problem, and it really does not matter who is the registrar for either domain.
