wordpress comment php download or save popping up

    When people, including myself try to post a comment and sometimes when I post a new post it acts like I’m trying to download something and the “save as” or “open” file box pops up.

    or it will pop up with whatever php is being executed and ask if I want to download or save it to file.

    Doesn’ happen every time though just often.

    It’s actually been happening for some time at least since 2.5 I’m currently using 2.61.

    is there a way to stop this?

    Could be a number of things such as mod_security or PHP running out of memory to name a couple. What do your error logs say? Have you contacted your host?
