WordPress category on a different domain with commenting

    I’ve tried to find a solution to this and it is a bit complex and I haven’t found a great match.

    I’m trying to take a category on an existing blog, and have that be a separate “blog” on a different domain. I assume this is possible through PHP or plugin? Blog-in-blog seems like it could work.

    I’d also like to have commenting (WordPress or disqus). This can be a different “commenting installation” but I don’t want to lose the community ability.

    The goal is to manage all content in one place. Is this possible? Any guidance would be greatly valued!

    You could use the Feed for that Blog’s category to import into a different Blog. This seems straight forward. You can also do this for tags.

    Commenting plugins exist for whatever platform you want to use. I use Disqus (has FB, twitter, video, openid support) but Backtype is another good choice.
