Support » Fixing WordPress » WordPress Categories Showing No Posts

  • Hello,

We are currently redeveloping one of our wordpress driven websites and have run into the following error:

Each post has been categorized but when you click on any of the categories with posts on the actual website it’s showing a “Nothing Found” error regardless of how many posts are actually in the category.

I couldn’t find a way to attach images here but I created an image album to show you what I’m talking about here:

As you can see from the screenshots, there are categories with posts in them that should display on the website and in the wp-admin area.

The site has been moved to a new host but we haven’t pointed the domain to it yet.

  • Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of assistance.

the four screen shots demonstrate the problem pretty well.

They show the database, the category page, the posts page, and the actual website error…

I tried updating the posts with new categories and they’re still showing 0 in the database.

We simply updated our /etc/hosts file to include, which you’ll need to do as well if you want to see the page since we haven’t updated the nameservers for the domain yet.
