WordPress Categories

Hello I’m new to wordpress and right now I have a page set up for creating teams, creating projects and creating tasks. I also have a category for teams, projects and tasks. What I need help with is how I can make it where if I go to one of those three pages and submit my response it goes to the specific category. For example, I want to make it so that if I press on the create teams button and go to that page and submit my team, the post I submitted will automatically be categorized as a team post. The same will go for Projects and Tasks.
