WordPress can’t connect to database

    I was doing the nice installer for WordPress, and when it wanted to connect to the database I set up, it returned a ton of errors. It looked like it was one error per connection attempt. I don’t have much experience with MySQL or PHP. Please help!

    Sounds like an odd error – what exactly did it say ?
    Paste a few (no more than 6) lines here ?

    I am very new to MySQL and PHP. Appearently when I gave user permissions to my WordPress MySQL user, I didn’t execute the correct sql statement. After about eight tries, I finally got it right!
