# WordPress Caching?

 * Is there some type of caching taking place in WordPress that is browser-specific?
 * When I make updates to my posts, they are instantly reflected in all browsers,
   except Internet Explorer. I can change a post, and Internet Explorer will continue
   showing the old version of the article for several hours.
 * I have tried refreshing the browser, clearing cache, etc…, but this is supposed
   to be dynamically loaded, so I don’t understand why Internet Explorer is doing
   this.
 * There must be a reason why it’s loading old versions of the posts for several
   hours, when all other browsers that I’ve tried, update instantly.

 * No, WordPress does not have any built-in caching.
 * Are you using any WordPress plugins to provide a cache? If so, which?

 * I am not using any plug-ins. So what would cause this to happen?

 * It sounds like there’s a problem in Internet Explorer then, especially if you
   have no issues in any other browsers, and aren’t using anything to provide caching
   through WordPress.
 * Have you tried Microsoft’s Edge browser, which is the successor to Internet Explorer?
