# wordpress cache problem

 * Hi, i am using WP rocket cache plugin. its working fine but after update **front
   page** of my website is not updating and very **slow first byte time**. I disabled
   and enabled all plugins and theme
    can anyone show me how to find and fix this
   error?

   if the issue persisted?

 * i deactivate a plugin and problem fixed.
    but first byte time is still very slow
   and i am using very light weight theme . I contacted my hosting provider and 
   they told me that this problem is occurring from your side.

 * If you’re facing a performance issue with_ your WordPress environment_, can you
   show us your website with all plugins deactivated and the Twenty Seventeen theme
   active? Then we should be able to replicate the issue. At the moment your guess
   is as good as ours as to why it’s slow.
 * It would also be useful to know the actual time it takes for the first byte, 
   instead of “very slow”.

 * Compare that with just 3 milliseconds for `wordpress.org`.
 * So it shouldn’t be surprising that your TTFB will be 1.5 seconds.
