WordPress Buttons not workin

    Several buttons are no longer working: add media, publicize’s edit, and a few others. Seemingly just stopped working. I’ve read that changing the theme could fix it but that’s almost the last thing I’d like to do, especially since the theme was working fine before. Any ideas?

    what plugins are installed (activated and deactivated)

    do you have jetpack installed?
    please provide link to to website.

    i would not expect changing visual display on the front end of website (i.e. theme) to impact operation of “buttons” inside the dashboard however, it is one thing to try to narrow down the source of the problem

    Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
