    Hi!

I have setup a client website so that I simply use WordPress functionality for a blog and a testimonials page. I’m also using WordPress to create the navigation so that I can use my theme styles for the menu – I’m simply calling the menu from within my non-wordpress web page. No problems so far!

The issue here is that I have WordPress installed in a subdirectory of my website and if anyone visits http://www.mysite.com/wordpress/, a broken version of my site is visible in the default theme.

How can I prevent this area being seen? I’ve tried using Deny all in the .htaccess file but this then prevents me from accessing the WordPress login and renders the theme useless.

I’m sure there is a simple answer to this but I just can’t work it out!

    Thanks in advance!!
