 * Hi
 * I would just like to know how this wordpress backup works. Does it work something
   like this:
 * I backup my database to 20th may 2006, and whatever posts I made will be backed
   up? And should my database ever crashes, I can use this database to retrieve
   all my posts? And can this also be used for the migration to another web host?
 * If so, how do I do it or maybe you can direct me to the link where I can find
   out more? Thanks for the help

 * when you backup and save your database, you have a copy of all wordpress data
   on your blog up until that point.
 * assuming you have it off site, you’re ok even if your server crashes (though
   you’ll lose things like theme files and such).
 * If you need to restore, simply upload the database,and then upload the wordpress
   files and fill in the wp-config.php file with the database info and you’ll have
   a running copy of wordpress with all your posts, comments, categories, and all
   that

 * Okay, so this backup plugin will work on a new webhost.
 * However I would like to know where can I upload the database? Is it in my WP-
   admin or is it in Web Host CPanel?
 * Thanks in advance

 * After reading the links, I have just 1 final enquiry
 * So if I ever change my webhost, I will need to install WordPress again, and then
   import my backup file, and everything will just fall into place?

 * Yes.. sort of 🙂
 * If I move people (or myself):
    – download the complete site. – download the database
   backup
 * – upload the complete site
    – restore the backup database – CHANGE the details
   in wp-config.php
 * That’s it.
    No need to install again.
