    Hi all!

    I have purchased the WordPress Backup to Dropbox zip backup plug-in few months ago. After I purchased, it backup my entire site to Dropbox (as a zip). But since a few months ago (with WordPress 3.5.1 and 3.5.2), this plug-in never completes the backup. All the scheduled backup only shows following log.

    00:30:11: Your time limit is 600 seconds and your memory limit is 128M
    00:30:11: Backup started on Monday July 8, 2013.

    If I wait for a 6 hours, nothing backup, it only shows above log.

    If I manually run the backup, it goes to 11% and never complete. Is it my server (VPS) issue?

    I think it’s not an issue with the Cron, because if I schedule posts, they published without any issue. Also I added following code to my htacess file.

    <Files “wp-cron.php”>
    Allow from All
    Satisfy Any
    </Files>

    Moreover I have disabled all other plug-ins and test WPB2D, but not give a positive result.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    I would contact your VPS provider to see if this is an issue with all the RAM being used or an issue their end.

    Thanks

    I can’t see any huge resources usage while WPB2D start its jobs. RAM and CPU usage normal.

    Thanks Jan. I already submitted a ticket. Hope he will contact me back.

    Still Michel not replied to my request. So sad, even if I pay for zip backup extension and premium support. 🙁

    Hay guys,

    Thanks for that Jan! You are correct, these forums should only be used for issues that I can answer that will help all users of WordPress and WPB2D.

    I am in the process of improving process! 🙂

    @bluemad – I have been on vacation for few weeks, hence the lack of reply. 🙂 You should have received a response to your ticket today. If not, please shoot me another email.

    Cheers,
    Mikey
