# WordPress Backend via API?

 * I’m researching a project to create a local backend, a bit like Calypso, but 
   only handling posts/pages – and no need for wordpress.com connectivity. I’ve 
   read tutorials on how to use WordPress as the backend and React as the frontend,
   but not about replacing the WP backend.
 * Any suggested sources of help?

   That will have everything that you need.
