# WordPress Backend Menu doesnt work anymore

 * Hi there,
 * the menu in my backend is only showing one item (profile) the rest is gone.
 * Can someone please please help me on that?
 * It`s the second time this happened.. The first time I deleted everything but 
   I really don`t want to redo everything again..

 * That definitely sounds odd and frustrating. I’m happy to take a look at this 
   for you.
 * You mentioned that the menu items on your site’s front end are missing in the
   backend, correct? Were you referring to **Appearance > Menus** OR **Appearance
   > Customize > Menus**? Could you visit both these links and see if you can find
   any entries there? Perhaps you are looking at the wrong menu – can you try switching
   between the different menus to see if you find any entries?
 * Could you share screenshots of what you find in the front end and the backend
   for us please? I recommend [https://snipboard.io](https://snipboard.io) for sharing
   screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL 
   in your reply in this thread. This will help us understand the problem better
   and guide you towards a solution.
