# WordPress Automatic Update Failed

 * When I tried to update WordPress automatically, I received an error saying that
   WordPress could not copy a readme file. Now the site is littered with warning
   messages stating “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/minaret/
   webapps/main_wordpress/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 622”.
 * Should I try updating WordPress manually, or is there some other way to fix this?

 * Try disabling plugins before updating. Also, make a backup of the site and database.
