I am thinking of creating a site with multiple components with wordpress the main front end.
I know you can get some forum bridges etc but here is the thing.
I want to use a imageboard but restrict viewing of it only to members that are currently logged into the system.
The imageboard will work as stand alone still as there is nothing to integrate it and the AIB plugin is abit too basic and in order to get more features or support for bugs etc one needs to contract a developer via a coding hub it seems, so I was thinking if there was a way to use htaccess to authenticate a login from wordpress, as I came across something similar.
Basically I want a site where if logged into wordpress then allow access to a imageboard subserver site if not display a page you need to be logged into the system.
Theme etc and what imageboard I will run, I still need to look into but want to know first if this is doable.
